What is it, exactly? Using a fine needle, purified protein is injected into specific areas of concern to reduce muscular activity. We offer Dysport and Xeomin, two of the most efficacious and safe neuromodulators available. (Bonus: Xeomin is vegan!)

What to expect

Consultation

Our board certified dermatologists will help you determine the best treatment plan for your unique skin goals. There will be time to talk through what to expect, side effects and expected results and, of course, answer any questions you may have. This can be done in advance or at the time of your treatment.

The dermatologist will cleanse and may apply a cooling ice pack to the skin.

The injections are quick and mostly-painless. We apply a cold pack before and after injections to help the treatment be as comfortable as possible. The treatment time will be between 10-15 minutes, depending on your treatment plan.

There is no downtime after your appointment. We will send you home with after care instructions and our team will check in a few days after your treatment to answer any questions. Occasionally there may be small areas of bruising. You will begin to notice results within the first few days, and results will maximize at 2 weeks. A follow up will be scheduled at the 2 week mark to see if any touch ups are needed.

How do neuromodulars work?

The selected neuromodulator is injected by your dermatologist into targeted muscles in specific areas of concern, temporarily blocking the nerve signal to reduce muscular activity. This is a safe, proven technology that has been in use for decades.

Most patients find this treatment painless. We will apply a cold pack to the injection sites to minimize discomfort.

None! Some patients experience light bruising or swelling which will disappear within a day or two.

Side effects are rare and mild. Patients may experience headache, pain, swelling or bruising at injection sites.

You will begin to notice results within the first few days, and results will maximize at 2 weeks.

Depending on your treatment plan, lifestyle, and other factors, your results may last 3 to 6 months
