Stay true to yourself as your skin changes.
Over time, the loss of volume in our face and lips can give a tired, worn out appearance. Well-placed dermal fillers can restore that volume, producing a youthful and rested look that lasts up to 18 months. Cheek fillers, eye fillers, and lip fillers are made of hyaluronic acid – a natural, fully biocompatible substance. Our board-certified dermatologists are highly trained in using these dermal fillers to enhance your natural beauty, not distract from it.
Dermal fillers can address concerns such as:
- Deep lines, wrinkles & scars
- Hollow tear troughs
- Dark circles
- Hollow cheeks
- Hollow temples
- Nasolabial folds
- Thin lips
- Sagging facial skin
Is it for you? Each one of us has our own journey with aging and the changes it brings. Our board-certified dermatologists work with you to determine the best course of treatment based on your goals. Each of our treatment plans is customized to the patient, focused on their hopes and well being.
Dermal Fillers FAQs
How do Dermal Fillers work?
Fillers, for the face and lips, are made of hyaluronic acid – a natural, fully biocompatible substance. Your dermatologist will strategically inject the filler in areas of concerns to replace lost volume giving a fresh, youthful appearance.
Does it hurt?
Depending on the area to be treated, some discomfort may occur. Over-the-counter pain relievers (like Tylenol), numbing cream for lips and a cold compress is often enough to manage the discomfort.
Is there downtime?
None!
When will I start seeing results?
Results will be noticed immediately and reach maximum effect after 10-14 days. In some cases it may take several weeks for the product to fully settle and for all swelling to subside.
How long will my results last?
Results will last 1 to 2 years for most facial fillers but less in some locations (such as the lips) which is usually closer to 6 months.
REASON TO BOOK WITH A DERMATOLOGIST
We’ve likely all seen celebrities who get too much or poorly placed filler. Instead of looking youthful and refreshed, sometimes they start to look unnatural and just stop looking like themselves. Choosing your injector is important. Board-certified dermatologists are skin experts with thousands of hours of medical training. Our dermatologists have the training to minimize mistakes and complications, and the artistry to keep you looking like you.
