Meet our Doctors
Dr. Dianne Burrows, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Burrows is the Medical Director at Interior Dermatology Centre and a leader in dermatology, combining her clinical expertise with a passion for education and research. As the founder of the Interior Dermatology Centre in Kelowna and a Clinical Instructor at UBC’s Department of Dermatology and Skin Science, she is dedicated to advancing skin health and training the next generation of dermatologists. Her commitment to innovation extends to conducting clinical trials, keeping her at the forefront of dermatological advancements.
Dr. Nicola Gray, MBChB, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Gray is a dual-certified dermatologist with a global perspective, combining academic excellence with extensive clinical experience. With advanced training in South Africa and Canada, she specializes in treating a wide range of skin conditions, from chronic diseases like psoriasis and eczema to skin cancers. Passionate about improving skin health, Dr. Gray remains actively engaged in research and professional development to provide the highest standard of care to her patients.
Dr. Alissa Loader, BSc, MD, CCFP(FP-Onc)
Dr. Alissa Loader brings a unique blend of expertise in family medicine, oncology, and dermatology to the Interior Dermatology team. With specialized training in acne management and a passion for skin health, she is committed to providing comprehensive care to her patients. Dr. Loader is excited to bring her diverse skills and experience to the Kelowna community.
Dr. Lonny Ross, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Ross is board-certified in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and trained at the University of Manitoba. He completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at Stanford University in California. From 2003 to 2020, he served as Director of the Manitoba Centre for Craniofacial Difference. Since 2020, he has focused on local anaesthetic procedures for the skin, including the treatment of skin cancers.
Dr. Ross has owned property in the Okanagan for many years and has a long-standing connection to the area. He and his family were drawn to live here by its natural beauty and welcoming community, and they have fully embraced life in Kelowna.
Dr. Henry Docherty
Dr. Docherty was born in Glasgow and trained at the University of Glasgow and the University of Queensland. He earned a Master of Medicine in Family Practice Skin Cancer and is a founding member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada. He has also been a long-standing member of the executive committee of the Canadian Association of GPs in Oncology.
Dr. Docherty has been practising in Kelowna since 1988 and has focused on skin cancer care since 2008. He lives in Kelowna with his wife, and their three children, four grandchildren, and two energetic dogs also call the city home.

Liana Chimanovitch, RN
Liana Chimanovitch is a licensed Registered Nurse specializing in medical and cosmetic care of the skin. In 2006, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with Honours from York University, Toronto. Liana further pursued her nursing career in hospital and clinical settings. In addition, she was a practical nursing instructor and class educator within the Centennial College nursing program.
Lauren Campbell, LPN
Lauren is a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Medical Aesthetics. After graduating from Bow Valley College, Calgary in 2019, she began her career on a surgical oncology unit. Shortly after she found her passion in the Medical Aesthetics Industry! From injectables to skincare, you will always leave your appointment feeling educated and confident. She prides herself on helping clients with their aesthetic goals and enhancing their own natural beauty!
Catherine Nordman, RN
Catherine has been a Registered Nurse in BC since 2010. She completed her Esthetics training at The Blanche Macdonald Centre for Applied Design in 2001 then went on to provide esthetic and laser treatments in several high-end spas and clinics in Vancouver and Toronto. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Ryerson University and has worked in Cosmetic Dermatology settings since 2010. She loves the medical esthetics industry and has a passion for lasers, energy based skin procedures, patient education and treatment planning.
Ashley is a fully certified Medical Aesthetician and Skin Care Technician, having completed her initial course at Marvel College, Kelowna in 2021. She then started collecting her other certificates around Canada and the United States in 2021-2022. Her own personal skin problems fuelled her passion to dig deeper and found medical aesthetics in 2022. Ashley is thrilled to join the Interior Dermatology team.
